A wonderful clock from days gone by, maybe one's remembers this clock on grandpa's mantle or dresser....made during 1932-38 from Telechron/G.E. This model is from the series 6-strike clocks (hour and half hour--no chimes). Still in working condition, the back is missing, label still intact, needs refinishing (we leave this to the buyer to do, as one can see in one of the pics for the original color, that picture came from a website dedicated to these clocks. The other pic is ours). Some of the color is still visible on the feet of the clock....either some new stain, tung oil or a clock smith/repairer may do it for you...but again we leave this to you). This model has the alternate dial (more fancy), other Minstrel clocks had a plain dial. Done in a wonderful art deco style of the time. There are few great sites dedicated to these wonderful clocks by Telechron G.E.. whether redone or left alone....makes a wonderful addition to any home decor or for that clock collector in your life. Also this is a slightly heavy item, hence the shipping price.
