A wonderful duo from the Hummel line of figurines.....bookends. The left bookend is the Little Goat Herder, a little boy standing with his two goats, a mother and her baby. He is stamped on the wooden base, on the figure itself and still has original sticker from the store on the base also. The right one is called Feeding Time, a lovely young girl feeding her chickens. One little chick was so hungry he/she jumped right into the bowl. This one is also stamped on it's wooden base, on the figure, she however does not have her stamp from the store. No chips, colors still wonderful and the wooden bases look like fences. I personally would not use these for heavy books, maybe small books (light ones). They measure around 5 1/2 inches tall, the base is 3 1/2 by 3 and 3/4 inches. As with all our items, the Hummels will be wrapped with the greatest of care for safe shipping. Great for just display by one's window or with some small flower pots next to them. A whimsical addition to one's Hummel collection.
