This lovely piece is a water pitcher made by the Household Institute (The Household Institute line is made up of the Nautilus, Republic, Ovenserve and Kitchen Kraft shapes.The Household Institute line was the result of a 1941 agreement between the Homer Laughlin China Company and the Club Aluminum Company. The line was purchased specifically for Club Aluminum´s continuity plans in their food stores divisions and was produced for several years). The pattern on this piece is called Rhythm Rose (Rhythm Rose was made from the mid-1940´s to the mid-1950´s. This was a commercial pattern used by several potters and was applied to several different shapes of the Homer Laughlin China). The size is for 48 oz. and is in great condition, no chips. Once again a lovely piece for any collector or as a gift.
