Some wonderful and grand pieces of porcelain were made during the late 40's and early 50's and these two I feel are no exception. Here we have a pair of Maruyama figurines, a young man and woman (what I like to call blue boy style). They are both in good condition, the woman does however have some of her gold worn around the base which does happen over time. The man measures a little over 6 1/2 inches tall and the woman is 6 1/4. They make a lovely couple. Great for any Maruyama or Occupied in Japan collector.
