A simply lovely piece of Royal Winton. A bud vase done in the luster ware style. The top of the vase is gilded in gold (slight scratch, can't really see it, unless you look real close), the bottom has a wonderful marble effect (I don't think the photo does it justice, for some reason it came out more yellow looking. When it actually several different colors, i think this was because of the background I used but as with all our items, if one wants more pics..please email). The vase measures around 6 inches tall, the top opening is 2 1/4 inches wide and is marked on the bottom. Still in wonderful condition and lovely to look at. A wonderful complement to any Rose or even the daintiest Daisy.
(In 1941 all potteries were graded as to the quality & type of items produced. They were required to display the appropriate letter designating the grade on all items. The letter "A" was incorporated into Royal Winton's back stamps in 1941. This continued until the end of 1951. These are predominantly green or blue.
