This vintage Belt Buckle was made for the American Express Co. It's made of brass and in good condition (could use a cleaning, but as always we will not do this. We leave all cleaning up to the buyer to decided how they want it done). On the front is their horse and carriage with the name American Express on it. On top is written American Express Co. and on the bottom is Wells Butterfield & Co. All letters and picture are raised. On the back it says Property of American Express with a ornamental leaf design. It measures 3 3/4 inches in length and 2 3/4 inches wide. This has been tucked away all these years with the other belt buckles. We are also thinking that maybe this/these were made as gifts for people who had once worked for the company, just a guess. This fancy buckle would make a fine addition to anyone's collection or collector of vintage Amex or Wells Fargo items.

(A $2.00 fee has been added to the price for insurance during shipping)
